St. Gabriel's Church of England Church, a Healing Church and one of the Basingstoke Churches, is set in the heart of the community of Popley, a fast growing area of Basingstoke, which has been created to respond to the needs of a growing town. An dynamic Anglican church for a dynamic and growing community. The Parish Church of St. Gabriel sits alongside the Team of Basingstoke Churches.The Parish Church has been on the same site since the 1960s and provides a friendly and lively Anglican church that meets the needs of the growing community year by year. St. Gabriel's is becoming a Church that the Community of Popley look to for Healing of Body, Mind and Spirit and this year we have introduced a Healing Service on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 6pmAs St. Gabriel's Church, Basingstoke, is in the heart of the Community of Popley, it is used by a large variety of groups for a venue. Some are run by the Church and some are run for by other organisations. Whatever your needs for social or religious activities, we are certain that we can either provide for them directly or point you in the right direction.St. Gabriel's has recently received funding for the employment of a full time Youth Worker in the Parish to work with the Children and families in Popley and its schools.
